Children's
Supportive Services employs a variety of
professional staff including clinic support staff,
professional office staff, licensed social workers
and counselors, and psychosocial rehabilitation
specialists with a bachelor's degree.
The following licensed professional staff will be
considered for employment by Children's Supportive
Services:
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor,
Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed
Marriage and Family Therapist. A
clincical professional counselor, professional
counselor, or marriage and family therapist must
be licensed in accordance with Title 54, Chapter
34, Idaho Code and IDAPA 24.15.01, "Rules of the
Idaho Licensing Board of Professional Counselors
and Marriage and Family Therapists".
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed
Masters Social Worker, or Licensed Social
Worker. A
clinical social worker (LCSW),
masters social worker (LMSW),
or licensed social worker(LSW),
must hold a license in accordance with Title 54,
Chapter 32, Idaho Code and IDAPA 24.14.01,
"Rules of the State Board of Social Work
Examiners".
- Licensed Pastoral Counselor. A
pastoral counselor must be licensed in
accordance with Title 54, Chapter 34, Idaho Code
and IDAPA 24.15.01, "Rules of the Idaho
Licensing Board of Professional Counselors and
Marriage and Family Therapists". Training and
experience in a mental health setting are
required.
- Licensed Professional Nurse (RN). A
licenced professional nurse or RN, must be
licensed in accordance with Title 54, Chapter
14, Idaho Code.
- Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR)
Specialist. A
PSR specialist must hold at least a bachelor’s
degree from a nationally accredited university
or college in behavioral science education, or
medicine. A PSR specialist
must have at least twenty-one (21) semester
credit hours (or quarter hour equivalent) in
human service fields such as psychology, social
work, special education, counseling, and
psychosocial rehabilitation.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist. An
occupational therapist must be licensed in
accordance with Title 54, Chapter 37, Idaho
Code, and IDAPA 22.01.09, "Rules for the
Licensing of Occupational Therapists and
Occupational Therapist Assistants". Training and
experience in a mental health setting are
required.
